I've always loved character houses, but the down side of these beautiful homes, is that the kitchens and bathrooms are usually small and have little space for storage. I've had the opportunity to recently visit two "old-timer" homes in the Alberni Valley, where Ben Emslie of HB Creative Solutions has redesigned and renovated the kitchen spaces. The results are fabulous. I actually lived in one of the homes where he completely redid the kitchen and I must say it was absolutely gorgeous!
Recently I posted some photos I took for Ben of the other character home where he renovated the kitchen. Although these photos were posted in a previous blog, I'm posting a few of the images again, because the homeowners were so delighted with Ben's work, that they offered to provide a testimonial for this blog. Chuck and Cecilia were ecstatic and couldn't be happier with the work that Ben did for them. Here is their testimonial followed by a few photos of their beautiful new kitchen.
