When it comes to what women want in design features for
their home, it's probably safe to say that kitchens and bathrooms are at the
top of the list. I recently visited the
shop at HB Creative Solutions, and from a woman’s (and photographer’s)
perspective, I was impressed! I’m certainly
not an expert when it comes to sophisticated shop tools, but I was very impressed
with the shop, which was incredibly organized and tidy! The array of equipment and tools made for
interesting subject matter to photograph, as I looked for unique angles and
reflections to get some photos of what some might call ordinary, every-day shop
items and tools. I was also quite
fascinated to learn just how Ben Emslie, at HB Creative Solutions, approaches
his custom design work and projects. From
start to finish it is clear that he takes great pride in his work. Ben’s attention to detail and quality
craftsmanship are evident throughout his workshop, his custom designs and the construction
of his projects. He uses
state-of-the-art equipment and a sophisticated computer program which helps him
with the design process. He can create a
two-dimensional kitchen design on his computer, and then easily convert it to a
three dimensional design. For anyone who
can’t visualize what their kitchen or bathroom construction or renovation might
look like, this is a great feature! Ben
showed me a recent kitchen renovation floor plan, and with a click of a key,
changed it to a beautiful 3-D plan! I am anxious to take the next step, to
photograph the kitchen renovation itself when it is completed. For anyone who is looking to renovate their kitchen
or bathroom, or have a custom-designed construction project on their wish list,
